Puffworks Kosher Certification Update

Transparency is important to us.

We understand how important it is for you to know what’s in your favorite Puffworks products and how they’re made. We try to be as transparent as possible including alerting you to any changes we make to our products. Which is why we want to let you know that our products will be transitioning from OU Kosher Pareve (OU) to OU Kosher Dairy (OU-D). The first product that will be affected immediately by this is our Puffworks baby organic peanut butter puffs*.

As an emerging snack brand, we work closely with our manufacturing partners to make Puffworks snacks in state-of-the-art food facilities that can meet our standards, but occasionally things happen that are outside of our control. We recently learned that one of our manufacturers added dairy to their facility, which disqualifies us from receiving OU-Kosher certification and technically makes our products OU-D. That said, we assure you our products remain non-dairy and continue to be certified USDA-Organic, Gluten-Free and Non-GMO Project Verified.
